20/20 IMAGING ADDS MULTIPLE MEDICAL CENTERS AND TEACHING INSTITUTIONS TO LIST OF DR SYSTEM CONTRACTS
November 16th, 2015
First anatomically programmed x-ray system specific to podiatry continues to set sales records
Garner, N.C. –November 16, 2015 - 20/20 Imaging, a Konica Minolta
company and leader in small market imaging with nearly 4,500
installations across the country, announced today that the University
of Washington Valley Medical Center, Renton, Wash., and Kadlec Medical
Center, Richland, Wash, have installed the HF PXS-710D digital x-ray
system. The first DR system designed specifically with advanced
features for podiatry imaging, the HF PXS-710D has continued to set
sales records since receiving FDA approval earlier this year. Furthermore, with the support of sales and distribution partner CMX Medical Imaging, 20/20 Imaging is seeing strong growth and expansion to the medical center market with this new system.
“We’ve done business with 20/20 Imaging for many years and knew who to turn to for quality digital podiatry equipment
that would meet the high standards of these medical centers,” said
Fred Prenner, VP Imaging Equipment, CMX Medical. “The installation and
training process that was provided by the team was excellent. 20/20
Imaging has the experience and the quality products to meet the needs
of our discerning hospital customers.”
Healthcare is focused on increased quality and improved
outcomes, and medical centers are demanding high quality diagnostic
systems for all specialties. Physician practices that for many years
operated independently are now tightly aligned with and sharing both
the decision making and coordinated collaborative care with their
medical center counterparts.
“As healthcare is facing both consolidation and pressure to improve
outcomes, specialties like podiatry are now coming into greater focus
and quality counts more than ever,” explained Bob Salzman, president,
20/20 Imaging. “From large medical centers to teaching institutions,
only the most advanced technologies are being considered, and the HF
PXS-710D is providing the increased quality, reduced dose, and
operational efficiency that is making it the number one choice in the
market.”
The HF PXS-710D is an advanced DR system that is
anatomically programmed to assure accuracy and best positioning, while
also saving time and further enhancing efficiency by enabling technique
settings to be selected at the acquire workstation rather than the
x-ray control. The high frequency system has full software integration
that provides advanced imaging capabilities and half the radiation dose
when compared to conventional single-phase generators.
Earlier this year 20/20 Imaging sold out its initial
production run of the HF PXS-710D in only two months. Among the early
purchasers was the Rosalind University Health Systems Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, North Chicago, Il.
Expanding Portfolio Includes Ultrasound Imaging
As part of the acquisition of sister company Viztek
(RSNA booth #6728, North Hall) by Konica Minolta (RSNA booth #2729,
South Hall), 20/20 Imaging is now providing a greater range of
solutions to aid in diagnosis and treatment. By offering both its
traditional line-up of quality DR systems alongside the ultrasound
products of Konica Minolta, facilities will be able to better manage
conditions such as plantar fasciitis in podiatry, and to provide
advanced diagnosis in the veterinary market.
